My Li'l Artist

My 19 month old son, Joaquin Alfonso just discovered the art of doodling, through his yaya who loves to draw. Hence, over the weekend, I got him some washable, non-toxic crayons and a drawing book.

Look at what he came up with....
Oh, of course I framed it! Haha
I really think, that aside from his love of singing and dancing, my boy's also a budding artist, don't you all agree?

Joaquin's First Haircut

Joaquin had his first haircut yesterday and he was super excited to get one. We were supposed to wait until his first birthday, but he's getting so irritated with his long hair already. Hence, we decided it was time to chop his hair off. Funny how behaved he was when Mang Nonoy (the barber) started shaving his hair. Just look at these photos:

hi Mom!

Nice haircut!

The mohawk was supposed to go a littlle thinner but Joaquin was getting irritated by all the hair that fell to his face and top. Hence, we told the Barber that it was okay to stop.

After the cut, Joaquin pretty much enjoyed his new hairstyle! And so did me and hubby! =)

Joaquin's First Halloween

Halloween has always been special to me--the costumes and parties and of course-- It's my birthday! Haha...

Anyway, last October 29, our office had its annual trick or treat for kids. Being an excited new mom, I have specifically searched for a unique costume for Joaquin. It's his first Halloween party after all. Until I found one online... days before the event. =)

Joaquin totally loved the tail that came with his costume as a little devil. And of course, it won't be complete unless I dress up as a devil mom as well. Needless to say, he actually won the Scariest (and cutest) costume for the day...
