Last July 2011, Watson's, the country's leading health & beauty store, partnered with ABS-CBN Licensing to sell Limited Edition University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Hand Sanitizers with Holders at Watson's outlets in Metro Manila and Luzon. This may have stemmed out from the Bath and Body Works' Pocketbac craze which hit the country since 2010.The UAAP Sanitizer holders are available in eight colors, representing each UAAP member teams --Blue Eagles, Green Archers, Fighting Maroons, Growling Tigers, Tamaraw, Red Warriors, Bulldogs and Soaring Falcons.
It was also nice to know that aside from promoting your love for your Alma Mater with each purchase, a portion of what you paid will go to UAAP's fund for its athlete scholars.
I was only able to see these sanitizers over the long weekend at a Watson's counter in the SM Supermarket near our place. If I remember correctly, it is being sold for Php 69.00.
Here's a closer look at the BLUE EAGLES sanitizer I got.
The size was actually very comparable to the Pocketbac and the scent (well at least for the Blue Eagle's one) was fairly decent.
